About my photos
I got my first camera back in 2005, and I've been hopeless to resist ever since. Everywhere I go, I have my camera with me. And yet, many years and over 30,000 photos later, it still feels wrong to name myself a photographer. For all the time I've devoted to taking pictures, I have never managed to study the technical aspects that it entails. It feels more truthful to compare what I do to hunting, always in pursuit of some wild creature or another, patiently waiting for the perfect opportunity or stumbling after one in an undignified chase. Still, that hunt is a big part of who I am, and I hope that by sharing a selection of my favorite fruits of that labor here I can bring a greater understanding of the world I come from.
All photos prior to 2015 were taken on my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H1, and those from 2015 onward with my Nikon Coolpix P530. If you have any questions about these photos, or are interested in obtaining larger versions of them, please feel free to contact me.

I use a few informal names to refer to frequent haunts, namely "the pond," which refers to a manmade pond surrounded by woods in League City, Texas.
