...How'd you get here? Hm. Well, in any case, welcome to my little corner of the web! I'm in the midst of a massive site-wide overhaul, so please pardon the metaphorical dust and any broken links or missing content as I am restructuring from the ground up. This site has been a background project of mine for many years, for most of which it has been "under construction." Despite the long hiatuses I often take from working on it, it's never abandoned, and I still have some side projects in the works. But as things stand now, there's not a whole lot to see.

July 20th, 2023 — New Archive Posts: Two more fresh out of the oven: retellings of yet another Kettle Moraine daytrip and a canoeing excursion taken in 2016.
July 13th, 2023 — New Archive Post: Continuing to gain footing in the neverending battle against backlog! Now published is another account of a Kettle Moraine daytrip in 2016.
June 29th, 2023 — New Archive Posts: At long last, 13 years after the trip, I have finally published the account of my 2010 visit to Trinidad and Tobago. And a mere 7 years after the fact, you can also enjoy reading about some of my early explorations of the Kettle Moraine.
May 4th, 2023 — General Site Overhaul: The site has been moved to new hosting (hooray!) and it was as good an opportunity as any to do a major cleaning of the files and directories. Many old versions and redundancies have been cleared up, a few things were broken and subsequently fixed, and remaining pages were updated to the partially-implemented PHP templates, and their content also updated. So, for the most part a largely invisible update, but many hours of work went into making the guts much, much prettier, more sustainable and future-proofed. I may be moving at a snail's pace but there is movement! Managed to break Species, and will have to scrounge up the brain cells to fix it at another time.
May 15th, 2020 — Gallery Update: Added backlog photos from 2018 to the Photos section of my Gallery. Just a bit more to go.
May 9th, 2020 — Gallery Update: Added backlog photos from 2016 and 2017 to the Photos section of my Gallery! Very slowly getting caught up...
February 15th, 2020 — Gallery Update: Added backlog photos from 2014 and 2015 to the Photos section of my Gallery! More on the way.
February 12th, 2020 — Gallery Update: Added an introduction to the Photos section of my Gallery.
February 10th, 2020 — Gallery Overhaul: A very rough new gallery has been pushed out the door. Page descriptions and some layout/design tweaks are still needed, but I have redone the content (larger versions of the photos for Colorbox, and new thumbnails) for the photo section with selected favorites up to 2013 (which was the last update from the previous content). I hope to have newer photos added soon!
January 30th, 2020 — General Site Overhaul: I'm currently working on instating some site-wide structure and design overhauls. Some just need to be set in place, and others need a little tweaking. It's a work in progress and things may be a bit of a mess until finished.
January 28th, 2020 — Species Update: A new, tentative version of Species has been uploaded! There is still a lot of work left to go, and quite the backlog of entries to process, but it's a step in the right direction. Check it out here!
